Where the locals eat. No fancy decor but the food and service were excellent. Sweet tea and country fried steak was amazing and fried chicken sandwich was very good. Ended up talking to the owner for most of our meal and nearly everyone that walked in the door he greeted on a first name basis.
We stopped here for lunch on a road trip and we were very pleased!! It's good old-fashioned diner food, cooked fresh and delivered hot and yummy . I had a hamburger with fried pickles, and my Husband had the steak quesadilla. For a small family-owned restaurant there were plenty of choices on the menu to choose from. Our server Alexis was very friendly, and she stopped by several times to make sure we had what we needed and were happy with our meal. We've passed this place a few times on our way to visit family and didn't know it was there, needless to say on future trips we will be back!! Highly recommend

Menlo’s Restaurant had some of the best breakfast plates I’ve had in a long time. Great local feel. Service was fast and very kind. Food was delicious! If your looking for a traditional southern breakfast, you have found the place.

First, let me mention that me and my husband are picky eaters. We love taking pride in our food and we stumbled across this amazing place that does also! The burger was amazing! It was fresh meat and it was not over cooked! We got the onion rings and tried the chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were fresh and hand dipped! We both are truly shocked we found this place. We came to mentone for a few days but we will for sure come back just to eat at Menlo Restaurant
We had a grilled chicken plate and a grilled chicken wrap. May be the best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Topped it off with a Menlo Brownie!! Def worth the stop!!
